Our Story
Nearly 9 Years of Love in Action
A Circle of Love is a community-rooted nonprofit focused on practical support, compassion, encouragement, and hope for individuals, youth, and families facing hardship.
How we began
A Circle of Love began in 2017 as LaDonna’s Love Foundation and later continued its mission under the name A Circle of Love. Through seasons of service, outreach, and community connection, the heart of the organization has remained the same: helping people feel seen, supported, and loved through practical care.
Today, A Circle of Love is rebuilding and relaunching key programs to support families, feed the hungry, uplift youth, and build hope across the community.
How to say our name: A Circle of Love is pronounced with a long A, like Ay Circle of Love, not Uh Circle of Love. Plain English: Ay SUR-kuhl uv LUV.

Joyie Lewis
Founder / Executive Director
Joyie Lewis leads A Circle of Love with a heart for helping individuals and families through practical support, love, outreach, education, and resource connection.
This may or may not be the right time for everyone to give, and we understand that. But if this mission speaks to your heart, your support will help us turn love into action.
Where We Are Today
Rebuilding, relaunching, and reaching further.
A Circle of Love is currently completing its IRS 501(c)(3) reinstatement process and has requested retroactive reinstatement. At the same time, programs are being rebuilt and relaunched so the organization can serve consistently and sustainably.
Partners, volunteers, and donors who join now help shape what the next season looks like.
